Introduced in 1972 as the successor to the Hakosuka, the fourth-generation Skyline, nicknamed "Kenmeri," was produced until 1977 and became a hit with over 700,000 units sold in five years. However, the GT-R variant was produced for only three months, resulting in a rare model with only 197 units made.

This example is one of a small number that was converted to a GT-R spec.

The engine has been upgraded to the classic L28, providing ample torque and a reassuring feel. The engine bay's clean condition, with no major modifications like bore-ups, leaves a positive impression and offers potential for customization according to the next owner's preferences.

On the exterior, it boasts high-quality GT-R specifications with exclusive Kenmeri GT-R-design genuine radiator grille, rear garnish, front and rear overfenders, and spoiler. Noteworthy are the chin spoiler at the front and Watanabe magnesium wheels, which together with its elevated stance, evoke the period's distinctive ambiance.

Refreshed to maintain a high condition, this vehicle also features well-maintained undercarriage and a gleaming muffler, producing a pleasing sound. Additionally, it is equipped with power steering for a comfortable driving experience.

Born from the allure of the rare Kenmeri GT-R, this modified GT-R version stands out with its high level of craftsmanship using many genuine parts and excellent overall condition. It is sure to attract attention in the ongoing vintage car boom.
