As Power, Beauty and Soul as its theme, the Aston Martin DB9 was unveiled to the public in 2003 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. At is revealing, it was praised that this example “reflects the future direction of the Aston Martin”. As the successor of the DB7, it went through various facelifts over its 12-year production.
Applying Aston Martin’s unique aluminum VH platform with adhesive bonding techniques, the body was lighter and had improved rigidity. At the newly-built factory in Gaydon, over 200 hours per vehicle were spent to produce these examples.
For this example, the exterior is the optional color California Sage over red leather.
