A 10cm diameter, 12cm tall piece of concrete from the legendary Suzuka Circuit. Taken from the #1 grid spot, where racing drivers from across the world in a huge range of cars have lined up for decades.

Since its opening in 1962, Suzuka Circuit has been the stage for Japan’s most iconic racing events, such as the F1 Japanese Grand Prix, Suzuka 8 Hours, SUPER GT and SUPER FORMULA. As part of its renovation, 100 sections of the track were carefully cut into cylinders for keepsakes. Each piece comes with a serial plate engraved with a number denoting its place in the run of 100. This particular piece is the first in the series of 100, and it has been taken from the #1 grid spot.

Serial numbers 1 to 10 denote its position from the #1 to #10 grid spots, and other serial numbers have been taken from other iconic parts of the fabled racing circuit, such as the S curves, and Gyaku-bank.
The number of legendary cars and drivers to have passed over this very piece of concrete is staggering to think about. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a piece of history as precious as this.
All proceeds from this auction (excluding handling fees) will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society.
Shipping is expected to start in July.
