The MiniAce debuted in 1967 as a small truck with an air-cooled, flat-twin 800c OHV engine (2U-B) producing 36 hp, the same as the Toyota Publica.

The body size was the same as that of the base Publica except for the overall height (length 3,585 mm, width 1,380 mm), and it achieved a minimum turning radius of 3.9 m, which is equivalent to that of a mini-car. On the other hand, the maximum load capacity is 500 kg, 150 kg more than that of a mini-truck, making it an extremely well-balanced small truck that became popular in a wide range of industries.

In 1968, the one-box type MiniAce Van and Coach (7-seat wagon) were added as a smaller version of the Hiace.

The Miniace series equipped with the air-cooled engine was unable to meet the 1975 emission regulations, and production was regrettably discontinued in December 1975.

This truck is the final model after undergoing two facelifts, and is a standard specification truck combining a 2-door cab-over with a high-floor cargo bed.

It is notable for the fact that it is practically a one-owner vehicle (continuously registered between family members) with a mileage of only 23,000 km. Although some minor age-related deterioration has been observed, the truck is in good condition and can be used for practical purposes in its current condition.
