Masanori Sekiya, a legend known as the first Japanese winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, has decided to consign!!
Active as a driver in the All Japan GT Championship, Sekiya retired from racing at the end of SUZUKA GT 300km (JGTC) in October 2000.After his retirement, Sekiya was the director of the powerful team TOM'S for many years and has also been deeply involved in the SUPER GT series. He is one of the key players in hosting the one-make race "Inter Proto Series" held at Fuji Speedway as well as the women's limited race series. "Kyojo Cup." It is safe to say that Sekiya is definitely playing a key role in promoting the vitality of Japan's motor sports world every day.
In regards to this charity auction, with the cooperation of other series as well, the entire motor sports world has unified sharing the same desire to want to help the medical professionals even just a little, the consignment will be "Inter Proto Circuit Experience."
The consignment will be the rights to experience riding "Kuruma," a machine that Sekiya invented especially for the Inter Proto Series.
One of the top drivers participating in the Inter Proto Series (we will announce who it will be later) will be driving the machine and thus, this is a special opportunity to experience the "FSW" (Fuji Speed Way) attack at racing speed.
