The Lancia Delta HF Integrale was created to commemorate the factory Delta that secured an unprecedented six consecutive WRC championships between 1987 and 1992. Featuring a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine, full-time four-wheel drive, and an aggressively flared wide-body designed with aerodynamics in mind, the road car faithfully reproduced the spirit of the works machine and quickly achieved iconic status.
Compared to the Evoluzione I homologation model introduced in 1992, the Evoluzione II adopted a revised fuel-injection system and saw output increased to 215 hp. The interior was also upgraded, with Alcantara trim adding a more luxurious feel.
Although this example carries an Evoluzione II chassis number, its interior reflects a carefully curated blend of components. The door panels have been replaced with those from the 16V model, while the seats - originally Sparco items used in period rally cars - have been reupholstered in black leather. These modifications reflect the owner’s vision of the ideal specification.
Performance enhancements go well beyond aesthetics. An Inconel exhaust manifold is paired with stainless-steel piping, terminating in a bespoke titanium exhaust. A mechanical limited-slip differential is fitted at the rear, while the suspension features a parallel-link setup combined with Aragosta adjustable coilovers, ensuring the car’s driving dynamics receive equal attention.
Additional details include period-correct works-style mirrors and lightweight FRP bumpers, underscoring the breadth and depth of the modifications.
Along with the original mirrors, wheels, and bumpers, this car also includes the now-rare Speedline Montecarlo magnesium wheels -making it an exceptionally well-appointed and highly desirable example.
