The GMLVAN G-01 is a customized vehicle based on the Nissan Caravan, distinguished by its unique design integrating the distinctive round headlights and tail lamps synonymous with Gordon Miller Motors. This particular iteration has undergone additional enhancements overseen by Michio Ikeda, CEO of Mimona Co., Ltd., known for managing the outdoor retailer "Orange" and distributing the popular "Horinishi Outdoor Spices"

The modified GMLVAN G-01 features distinctive enhancements such as front and rear bumper guards, side guards, a roof carrier, roof lights, and an awning. Additionally, it has a 2-inch lift and Yokohama Geolandar tires.

Ikeda has also curated a range of popular outdoor gear from select garage brands for the build. This collection includes two Kermit chairs upgraded by OLD MOUNTAIN GARAKUDA, the HANGETSU fire pit from Sanzo Kogyo for campfires, a large black shima-otoko from Hexagon Table for kindling, DAIBUTSU lampshades and table stands from SomAbito, and lanterns from Claymore. Each item not only offers practical utility but also appeals to outdoor enthusiasts.

The GMLVAN G-01 stands as Gordon Miller Motors' flagship model, embodying their meticulous attention to detail. With a high-roof long configuration, it optimizes its expansive living space to cater to diverse needs such as remote work, meetings, and sleeping comfortably. Engineered for off-grid functionality, it could be used across a wide range of environments.

The interior of the GMLVAN G-01 is distinctly different from that of the standard Caravan. It features a fold-up rear bench capable of seating up to five people. Additionally, the seat cushions and backrests are crafted for comfort using luxurious Ultra Suede® fabric. When not in use, the bench can be folded away to maximize interior space for other purposes.

Moreover, it comes equipped with a tapestry-type projector screen, making it suitable for activities such as movie watching. There is a portable freezer/refrigerator designed to facilitate long travels. Enhanced with robust turbo cooling, it boasts a spacious 36-liter capacity and allows precise temperature adjustments from +10°C to -22°C in 1°C increments.

Standard equipment includes a large battery capable of powering the rear cooling system continuously for about 11 hours. Additionally, it offers up to 1,500W of output, ensuring ample power for operating high-voltage appliances such as hair dryers or microwaves.

The GMLVAN G-01 customized by Ikeda exemplifies a spacious on-the-road lifestyle, ideal for van life with amenities such as an FF heater for cozy winters. Operating on the vehicle's fuel and battery power eliminates the need for separate fuel or gas for the heater, ensuring ease of use even when the engine is off.

With features such as a substantial battery, rear cooling system, portable freezer/refrigerator, and FF heater, it guarantees comfort in remote environments. Its interior boasts an industrial design that caters to both van life and business needs seamlessly. Complemented by a variety of outdoor gears, it enhances comfort beyond the vehicle.
