While it is certainly “authentic,” modifications have been made by the owner. Considering the president of Superformance used it for street driving, the exhaust system was changed from a dual side-exit to a single exit per side, with Flowmaster installed. This modification was confirmed when the car was displayed as a demo at the SEMA Show. After arriving in Japan, the interior was changed to red leather, and the seat embroidery, stitching, and other details were faithfully modified to be closer to the original. However, the car still maintains its Shelby American tradition with the aluminum body coated in the signature Guardman Blue with white stripes.
