1972 NISSAN SKYLINE 2000 GT-R(KPGC10)
- High level of originality maintained in excellent condition
- Rare model as approx. 30% produced with white body color
- Equipped with factory optional parts such as radio and heater
When it comes to the first generation GT-R, many associate it with a silver body color. This association is particularly strong with the 2-door KPGC10 model, where nearly half of the 1197 units produced were finished in silver. The vehicle being offered sports the relatively rare white body color, representing about 30% of the KPGC107s produced.
Starting with semi-bucket-shaped front seats, the vehicle maintains an overall excellent condition. It includes original vinyl covers on the door panels, which have been preserved since the beginning for protection. The odometer reads only 52,000 kilometers, and the body paint has recently undergone a complete repaint, retaining a glossy appearance. During the repaint, both front and rear weather strips and moldings were replaced, giving the exterior a new car-like atmosphere. The front fenders have been widened to accommodate tires with a wider tread, yet areas often replaced, such as the muffler, also maintain a high level of originality.
Following a recent inspection at the dealership, maintenance items such as oil pan and valve cover gasket replacements, as well as replacements for oil separator hoses, water hoses, and fuel hoses, have been completed. This vehicle also features essential equipment installed at the time, including radio, heater, and headrests, making it a particularly delightful find.
