This car is a facelift model of the first generation Nissan Cedric, model H31.
It’s a "Custom" grade example, which is the high-end version with a 2-liter engine. The interior and exterior are in relatively good condition, although the car has not been road registered for many years, as indicated by the 1979 inspection sticker.
The engine can be started, indicating that the vehicle has been well maintained.
The fresh green color of the exterior was probably a complete paint job, which accentuates the H31's American-style body style.
The interior seats, wood paneling and steering wheel with horn ring are original, and aside from some deterioration on the door frames by the roof, the car is in good condition.
This first-generation Cedric boasts a high level of quality, as it is a luxury saloon that Nissan put its prestige on the line to create. Combined with its Western-style design that makes it hard to believe it is a Japanese car, this car is sure to be the center of attention wherever it goes.
