1991 Nissan Skyline GT-R N1 [BNR32]
- Rare “N1” early model

- 850km mileage
- Fully original

This example is a BNR32 GT-R, commonly known as the “N1 Spec”, the earliest produced homologation models for the purpose of competing in the N1 Endurance Series (now known as Super Taikyu). The development of the N1 was based on the NISMO version, so it bears many similarities. The two distinctive ducts on the front bumper, hood top molding at the tip of the bonnet, the bumper grilled and canceled rear wipers were all shared with the NISMO.
A big difference is that the N1 does not have a rear sub-spoiler or side protective molding. Furthermore, the headlights have been changed from the built-in projector lamps to lighter twin halogen lights, known as N1 lights. In addition, the N1 does not come with ABS, and air conditioning and audio were available as options. These efforts were in keeping with the homologations model’s emphasis on weight reduction. The Crystal White body color was exclusive to the N1 model and remains a recognisable element.
The N1 is one of the rarest GT-R’s throughout the whole run, with only 228 units produced over the entire period. More than double the number of NISMOs were produced to compete in Group A.
What makes this already rare car truly remarkable is that the odometer shows just 850km. The owner kept this car in storage for over 20 years since he bought it new, rarely moving it. As such, apart from the optional air conditioning, audio, and roll bar, both the interior and exterior remain in their original condition.
The elusive N1 has been waiting many years to be out again. If you are a GT-R collector, this would be the holy grail.
