1961 Jaguar XK150

  • The pinnacle of the XK series
  • Open Two-Seater
  • Mileage: 17,483 miles

In May 1957, Jaguar Cars announced the XK150, a 2+1-seater sports car that was an improved version of the XK140.
This model is the pinnacle of the XK series, the design was refined to give it a more modern feel, while its GT-like character was strengthened further with improved comfort and better equipment.
The engine is a 3.4-litre straight-6 DOHC SU twin carburetor inherited from the XK140SE. The brakes were upgraded from drums to discs on all four wheels.
Production ended in October 1960, and the model was succeeded by the E-type, which was announced the following year.

This example is a Open Two-Seater model of such an XK150.
Mileage is just 17,483 miles, a very low figure considering the age of the car.
