After a 23-year hiatus, the storied “DB” name returned to the Aston Martin lineup with the debut of the DB7 in 1994. Early models, produced until 1998, were powered by a supercharged 3.2-liter inline-six engine. From 1999 onward, Aston Martin introduced a more potent 5.9-liter V12 DOHC powerplant, continuing production through 2004 to meet the growing demand for a truly grand touring experience.
Among the rarest variants of the DB7 were the limited-production GT and GTA, offered only between 2002 and 2003. Both models featured enhanced output of 435 PS, unique aerodynamic refinements, and model-specific alloy wheels. Of the total 302 GT-series cars built, just 112 examples were the automatic GTA, making them highly collectible today.
Designed by Ian Callum—who would later become Jaguar’s head of design—the DB7’s sculpted curves epitomize Aston Martin’s modern elegance. The hand-finished interior of this example is trimmed in classic ivory and black Connolly leather, exuding timeless British craftsmanship.
This two-owner car, showing only 17,884 km from new, remains in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. Effortlessly blending refined automatic drivability with the unmistakable sound of a naturally aspirated V12, this rare DB7 GTA stands as one of the most sophisticated and engaging grand tourers of its era.
