SARD, which stands for “Sigma's Advanced Research & Development”, traces its roots back to Sigma Automotive, a trailblazing company founded in 1972. In 1973, Sigma Automotive made history as the first Japanese manufacturer to enter the 24 Hours of Le Mans using its proprietary chassis.

While capable of impressive acceleration, the engine is tuned to deliver abundant midrange punch - ideal for exhilarating sports driving and responsive high-speed cruising. In addition, titanium is used on the muffler from the middle pipes to the tail end, not only minimising weight but also optimising exhaust flow efficiency. Titanium's inherent dry, crisp tonal qualities elevate the sound as well. The Φ115 muffler end is finished in matte grey with a shot-blasted surface, setting it apart from other titanium mufflers. A Japanese 200cpsi cell with remarkable heat resistance, withstanding temperatures up to 1,200°C is used for the catalytic converters, all carefully handcrafted by master artisans ensuring the highest quality.

The braking system has undergone significant enhancements to accommodate the increased power. At the front, ALCON's 6-piston callipers, famous for their exceptional performance, have been employed. These are complemented by Φ380 discs.
