The Daihatsu Midget is a 3-wheeled vehicle that was marketed as the “City Helicopter” when it was first released, it was popular during Japan’s high economic growth period as it was used for logistics/deliveries of various items.
This particular example is an early model with handlebars. It has other features such as the single seat, lack of doors and kick-starter that make it resemble a motorcycle.
It’s already over 60 years old and engine servicing will be required to start it. The yellow and blue two-tone combination is original as are the canvas top and mudguards.
This vehicle has a very nostalgic look and getting in it will transport the driver into the past.
