This is a rare Datsun Fairlady 1500 (Datsun Sports in certain markets), the second generation of the open-top sports car, often known as the SP310. Both the exterior and interior are in good condition however it has not been started in 4 years, therefore thorough checks are required before starting the engine. The car was stored in a warehouse for those 4 years and has developed a door mechanism issue and there’s some sagging in the interior trim. Of course its unusual side-facing rear seat remains. The engine is its original 1.5-litre inline-4 OHV G-type with SU carburettor, just like the cars that were victorious in the first Japanese Grand Prix in 1964, it’s a model which has made a mark in Japanese motorsport history.
