1989 Lancia Delta HF Integrale 8V (16V Conversion)

  • Engine converted to 16V
  • FRP bonnet
  • Acrylic rear window
  • Wilwood brake rotors
  • Equipped with welded roll bar
  • Aftermarket exhaust

The success of the Lancia Delta in rallying is well documented and while the most famous variants are the Integrale Evoluzione I and II, the Integrale 8V has its own appeal.

It sat at the top of the Delta range and received features from the WRC (World Rally Championship) race car such as four-wheel drive and its famous bulged wheel arches. It shares the same 2-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine as its predecessor, the HF 4WD, but received new valves, bigger radiators and intercooler, as well as a bigger Garret turbo. This resulted in increased power to 185 hp.

This particular example was converted to a 16 valve and was extensively modified. It has an inconel exhaust manifold, aftermarket exhaust, adjustable shocks, Wilwood brake discs and calipers, Speedline wheels, an FRP bonnet, acrylic rear window, inside the stripped interior there are carbon panels, a welded roll bar, the Sparco seats have 6-point harnesses and rear seats were removed, all for weight-saving and increased rigidity.

The car is finished in red with stickers all over the car making it reminiscent of the red Martini liveried rally car Lancia raced. Sitting inside, the same rally feeling the exterior provides can be felt. This example has covered 77,480 km.
