The GT-R V-spec N1 is a car that was produced for N1 endurance racing homologation with the main feature being the N1 engine. As a later model V-spec it has improved Brembo brakes. It’s a very rare model with just 228 units believed to have been produced.

The V-spec N1 was based on the NISMO version of the R32 Skyline GT-R but has a few different features. Like the NISMO, it has distinct ducts on the front bumper, but for weight reduction the radiator grill and rear wiper were removed, the ‘projector’ headlights were replaced with more simple halogen lights; it also lacks ABS and air conditioning and audio system were optional. The only colour available was Crystal White.

Weighing about 1,350kg, the Group A cars racing in N1 endurance categories required brakes that could withstand more demanding circumstances. To address this the brake discs were not perforated to avoid cracking and air deflectors were installed on the front suspension rods to help cool the brakes better.

The N1 engine block received reinforcement over the standard engine and the turbocharger turbine was changed form the ceramic one to a metal for improved durability.

The odometer of this example reads approximately 110,000 km, but at 79,918 km, the car underwent a major refresh at the dealership, with focus on the suspension, differential, and transmission, the engine was also replaced to a BCNR33 N1 engine, at the same it got a turbocharger from a BNR34. These modifications at close to 80,000km shows the owners dedication to drive the car. The transmission was then replaced at 80,125 km.

The car is also equipped with the optional air conditioning and audio system. As for the wheels, although the car is equipped with aftermarket wheels, the genuine BBS wheels are still with the car.
