This "Hiace Wide Van" had the involvement of Hiromi, a popular celebrity known as one of the biggest car lovers in the entertainment industry, and was customized by FLEX, a famous Hiace specialist.
The customization process of this vehicle was introduced in the mobility transformation program "Mobi Evo" broadcasted on News Picks, where Hiromi himself installed shock absorbers and changed tyres.
Based on the wide version of the Hiace Super GL Dark Prime II, it shows a subtle off-road style. It’s equipped with a lift-up set made by JAOS, a long-established off-road parts maker, fender trim and mudguards, and combined with FLEX original Delf04 wheels, it creates a simple but rugged off-road look.
This car is equipped with FLEX's original bed kit, which allows the owner to comfortably spend the night in the car. The height of the bed can be adjusted to create a versatile luggage space in the lower area. The interior has been reupholstered in black leather, but Hiromi has chosen a colourful fabric for the interior, giving the car a sporty exterior and pop interior feel. The interior, traditionally in black leather, has been reupholstered in a colourful fabric of Hiromi's choice, and the contrast between the sporty exterior and vibrant interior is one of his signature touches.

FLEX (FLEX Auto) is a car dealership established in 1967. FLEX Auto is a well-known specialty dealership that boasts the largest number of sales of two of Toyota's most enduring utility vehicles, the Hiace and Land Cruiser. However, they're not limited to just the sale of vehicles, but also specialise on customising Hiaces to meet customers’ wants and lifestyles.
One of the projects that FLEX has been involved in since 2017 is the Renovation Car Project, known as "Renoca". Renoca transforms practical and durable commercial vehicles such as the Hiace and Probox into retro-style cars with charming designs, which has won the hearts of many users.
