The V8 mid-engine models have become Ferrari’s flagship series. The special series of V8 models, which combined high performance and distinctive presence, have garnered so much attention and popularity that every model in the series has become a collectible.

The beginning of Ferrari’s V8 special series was the Challenge Stradale, based on the 360 Modena and infused with technology from the one-make Challenge racing series. Compared to the 488 GTB, these enhancements meant 20% more downforce and significantly improved engine cooling performance.

The 488 Pista packs performance and technology akin to a racing car, yet its control systems have evolved to ensure anyone can enjoy its capabilities. Ferrari’s proprietary Side Slip Control (SSC) was now in its sixth generation, incorporating new steering control derived from the Ferrari Dynamic Enhancer (FDE).
