The Suzuki Cappuccino was introduced in 1991 with the aim of becoming a mini vehicle with full-scale sports driving capabilities. Part of this was that a front engine, rear wheel drive setup was adopted, which is uncommon for mini vehicles. The engine is equipped with a water-cooled 4-cycle in-line 3-cylinder F6A type that produces a maximum output of 64 horsepower, the maximum limit of mini vehicles. The engine is placed vertically in the front midship, achieving an ideal weight distribution of 51 to 49. The Cappuccino is also the first mini vehicle to have a 4-wheel double wishbone suspension.
Weight was a serious factor that Suzuki was committed to reducing when developing the Cappuccino. As such, aluminium parts are used in the roof, body and bonnet. The vehicle weighs an impressively low 700kg. The Cappuccino discovered the potential of mini vehicles and pursued the limits of driving performance and is still very popular as one of the few sports priority mini vehicles available.
This vehicle is a late model and has been registered as an ordinary vehicle due to its modifications. The odometer displays 51,560km. Modifications to the car uses mostly parts made by QUEST, such as an aluminium plug cover, front tow bar and muffler.
The exterior is equipped with a number of enhancements, including aero bumpers over the fenders, and aluminium wheels made by Hayashi Racing. The interior has a Momo Corse steering wheel and an additional triple meter, enhancing the sports car feel.
This car would best suit someone who can enjoy exhilarating driving and make the most of the Cappuccinos driving performance.
